Different Valencia Wines |

Most of the wines of Valencia are produced for the supermarket business.
The white wines will be made mainly from
Merseguera with a dash of Macabeo,
rosados are mainly Garnacha and
Bobal, and the reds come from
Bobal with some
Monastrell. These are likely
to surface as supermarket and restaurant own-brand house wines at suitably
modest prices.
There are also some speciality wines. The Valentino subzone makes
semi-sweet and sweet wines from
Moscatel and Pedro
Ximénez, as well as the classic Moscatel de Valencia
vino de licor.
